Indupol started off by developing new production processes like RTM (Resin Transfer Moulding) as well as new products in sandwich constructions. Due to business expansion, Indupol relocated to Arendonk (Belgium), which was an ideal central location, in close proximity to the motorway. During the Eighties, a decision was made to switch focus to polyester body parts for trucks and buses.
In the same period, Indupol became OEM supplier for DAF. In the years that followed, Indupol expanded reasonably quickly and the number of employees reached 100 by the early Nineties. Due to this growth, it was necessary to implement a structured organization, which led to ISO9001 and VDA6.1 certification and opened the doors to new customers like Daimler Chrysler, MAN, Scania and Bova buses. In 1996 Indupol invested in a brand new production plant in Slovakia. In 2002 Indupol acquired the company Van der Ham kunststoffen. Nowadays we distinguish ourselves by offering our customers added value. Due to the vertically integrated nature of our production, we are able to supply completely finished and assembled products in any colour and any shape. In 2012 Indupol obtained ISO-TS 16949 certification, the highest achievement in the automotive industry.
