“The company is young at heart and has a long and proud heritage. Its principal markets are Aerospace, Automotive, Construction, Defense, Electrical, Industrial, Marine and Recreation/ Consumer.
AGY has more than 1,000 employees involved globally in the production, sales, distribution and development of fiberglass reinforcements and yarns. Manufacturing facilities are in Aiken, S.C., and Huntingdon, Pa. World headquarters are adjacent to the manufacturing facility in Aiken.
The company has a commercial and administrative office in Lyon, France, a sales agent in Seoul, Korea, and a business consultant in Tokyo, Japan. Additional support comes from contract manufacturing resources in Europe and South America.”
