ZCL Composites Signs Major FRP Contract

ZCL Composites has been awarded a six-year contract by Imperial Oil to supply fibreglass tanks and related products for use in its operations across Canada.

The contract covers the period May 1st, 2004 to April 30th, 2010.

Imperial Oil is one of ZCL’s largest customers and a cornerstone of the Company’s business in Canada for many years. ZCL has secured supply agreements with most of the major and independent oil companies in Canada and, through these long-term relationships, has become a major industry supplier in underground fuel storage.

Imperial Oil is one of Canada’s largest corporations and has recently been in the news for their donation of $650,000 to fund research projects at Canadian universities. The company has donated more than $3 million to Canadian university research over the last five years in the fields of engineering, environmental, earth, chemical, physical, computing and social sciences.
