ZCL Composites has been awarded a six-year contract by Shell Canada to supply fibreglass tanks and related products across Canada.

The contract with Shell Canada covers the period April 1, 2004 to March 31, 2010.

Shell Canada is one of ZCL’s largest customers and a cornerstone of the Company’s business in Canada for many years. ZCL has secured supply agreements with most of the major and independent oil companies in Canada and, through these long-term relationships, remains the industry leader in underground fuel storage.

Mr. Ven Côté, President and CEO, made the announcement at the industry’s major trade show, the 2004 PEI (Petroleum Equipment Institute) Convention at the NACS (National Association of Convenience Stores) Show, held in Las Vegas, Nevada.

“This contract demonstrates Shell’s confidence in ZCL and our ability to consistently deliver the high quality products and service that our customers value,” said Mr. Côté. “We are committed to providing exceptional service and value to our customers and to continuing our innovative industry leadership. This contract is evidence of the long term benefits of successfully meeting that commitment.”
