This series of one-day Workshops has highlighted a number of important areas in composite materials technology and typically attracts 80-100 delegates, mostly from industry. The current Workshop addresses the basics of mechanically fastened and adhesively bonded jointing techniques and the wider issues of design, manufacture and assembly of composite components through a series of case studies covering different industry sectors, including marine, ground defence vehicles and civil engineering construction.
