A Testing Laboratory is now available from Wabash MPI and Carver for customer testing of LIM, compression moulding and other applications.
The Wabash and Carver presses available for testing include: two MICROLIM machines with Graco #622 Meter Mix; a 30 ton Genesis compression press with proportional control of pressure and temperature; a Carver 30 ton Auto Series Press; a Carver 12 ton Model C, heated and cooled; and a 5 ton Sterling Chiller.
Wabash says it is a leading international supplier of standard and custom presses to the medical, aerospace, recreation, automotive, education and energy markets. Applications include ASTM polymer testing, proppant crush testing, liquid silicone, rubber, plastics and composites moulding, R&D, laboratory and other specialised processes. Included are elastomer and vacuum moulding machines for compression, transfer moulding, laminating, and trimming. Wabash also offers custom engineered presses, as well as used and reconditioned presses.
Carver offers two-column and four column benchtop, manual and automatic hydraulic laboratory presses with clamping capacities from 12 to 48 tons. Carver presses are designed for various materials research such as plastics and elastomers, as well as pharmaceuticals, analytical chemistry, lab testing, laminating and other applications including sample preparation.
