Wabash and Carver are highlighting their standard and custom composite moulding presses for manufacturing and laboratory applications, with press capacities ranging from .5 to 1200 tons and platen sizes from 6″ x 6″ to 6′ x 12′, at CAMX, The Composites and Advanced Materials Expo, in Booth F76 at the Anaheim Convention Centre in Anaheim, California, US, from 27-29 September 2016.

Wabash explains that it will be running a Genesis Series 50 ton compression press in Composites One’s exhibit in Booth P22, as part of the Lean Mean Process Machine demonstration live event. These demos feature more than 15 closed mould and advanced processes, including a live SMC/Compression Moulding demonstration, as well as new product technology.

Wabash offers standard and custom hydraulic and pneumatic presses for compression moulding,vacuum moulding, ASTM testing, laboratory and R&D applications. It claims that its transfer presses offer precise moulding of electrical components, medical products and other applications.

Carver offers two-column and four column benchtop, manual and automatic hydraulic laboratory presses with clamping capacities from 12 to 48 tons. Carver presses are suited for various materials research, as well as pharmaceuticals, analytical chemistry, lab testing, laminating and other applications.
