Vistagy, developer of computer-aided-design (CAD) integrated software for the design and manufacture of composite parts, is to expand its sales channels in Europe and the Pacific Rim for its flagship FiberSIM software.
The company said that the additions to the Vistagy sales in France and China force come as a result of the expanding interest in FiberSIM internationally, particularly in the aerospace and automotive industries. More specifically, the company said that they are targeting China for its expanding aerospace industry and supply chain. Opening a new office in France is a logical extension of the companies presence in the UK and in Germany, particularly because of the strong French aerospace industry.
“FiberSIM has become a standard tool for creating composite products at North American and European aerospace companies,” says Steven C. Luby, president and CEO of VISTAGY. “In recent years, worldwide aerospace and automotive companies have adopted the software as well. In fact, the Pacific Rim was our fastest-growing region in 2004. These new sales agents will expand our existing European and Asian presence to provide greater service to our customers and reach out to additional engineering companies.”
The agents will represent FiberSIM software for the design and manufacture of composite parts. The company added the use of the software is expanding in the aerospace and automotive industries.
