Ultracor has introduced UltraFlex, a honeycomb core with distinctive cell geometry that allows compound curvatures.

UltraFlex is claimed to provide similar or higher mechanical properties compared to hexagonal cores of equivalent density, together with exceptional Formability into compound curvatures. UltraFlex can be tailor made using practically any non-metallic web material and core densities can match existing hexagonal cores.
