Trident Foams will showcase 3A Composites’ latest innovations in PET foam and balsa wood sustainable core materials at Advanced Engineering 2017.

“We are very proud to be a distributor of the 3A Composites product range,” says Phil Kenyon, CEO of Trident Foams. “3A Composites has long been a market leader in the field of core materials and its product range continues to grow from strength to strength. The key to their success is their ability to constantly develop and supply meaningful materials to the composites industry. Their Global Engineering Solutions team is always ready and willing to assist us with any enquiries and customer challenges. As our industry develops I look forward to Trident, with support of 3A Composites, taking their new and established materials further and further into all new and existing composites products.”

“With the launch of AIREX T10.60 and Trident’s support, our customers in the UK will now have access to improved material performance for a new wide range of applications in the wind, automotive, construction, and marine markets,” adds Eric Gauthier, President of Global Key Accounts of 3A Composites Core Materials.

AIREX T10.60 is a new lightweight version of the AIREX T10 product family. It is a very low-density foam core with a homogeneous cell structure and highly-oriented properties. The cells are oriented to maximise the vertical compression properties that are important in sandwich application. AIREX T10.60 can be used in countless sandwich applications where lightweight and cost efficiency are prerequisites for a successful product design, including trucks, nacelles, building and construction.

Trident Foams will exhibit on Stand L180 at Advanced Engineering 2017 on 1-2 November in Birmingham, UK.
