The Gill Corporation Signs Contract with flydubai
The Gill Corporation Chairman and CEO, Stephen Gill, has announced that is has recently signed a new consignment agreement with Dubai-based, flydubai.
Since launching its operations in 2009, flydubai has created a network of more than 90 destinations in 44 countries. The airline operates a fleet of 58 Next-Generation Boeing 737-800 aircraft and will take delivery of more than 100 aircraft by the end of 2023 with the first of its 737 MAX 8 aircraft to arrive in the second half of 2017.
Candi Burdick, The Gill Corporation Director of Aftermarket Sales and Irv Freund, Corporate VP of Marketing and Business Development, met with officials in Dubai to sign the agreement. “This agreement is a great opportunity to support flydubai as they expand business in the region.”
Commenting on the agreement, Mick Hills, SVP Engineering and Maintenance at flydubai, said, “We continue to invest in products and services that strengthen our commitment to maintain the highest levels of reliability and safety. We’re pleased with the consignment agreement we have signed with The Gill Corporation and look forward to working closely with them.”
According to The Gill Corporation, it is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of honeycomb, high performance floor panels, cargo compartment liners and original equipment for passenger and freighter aircraft. The company explains that it also excels in many other types of reinforced plastics including interior sandwich panels for creating structures such as aircraft galleys and bulkheads.
The Gill Corporation explains that it and its subsidiaries; Alcore, Alcore Brigantine and The Gill Corporation Europe, are vertically integrated to offer advanced composite material solutions for the 21st century. The Gill Corporation is headquartered in El Monte, California, US.
