Oxeon has introduced a +45/-45 variants of TeXtreme Spread Tow Fabrics, complementing the existing 0/90 version of TeXtreme to easily produce optimized multidirectional laminates.

The new fabric-forming technology has been developed by Dr. Nandan Khokar, R&D Manager of Oxeon, and his team. This proprietary innovation enables continuous-length production of novel fabrics by interlacing two sets of Spread Tow Tapes at different angles, for example +45/-45, +30/-60, +50/-25 etc..

Andreas Martsman, Vice President of Oxeon, says, “”We are very pleased to introduce again another proprietary technology and innovative extension of the TeXtreme product line. We believe that this development brings a great value to our customers and to the composites industry as a whole.””

“”This innovation clearly shows that we have great reinforcement solution possibilities to offer for different applications. These new versions of TeXtreme Spread Tow Fabrics further broaden our product range and help us in our strive towards becoming the leading provider of optimized composite reinforcements””, says Henrik Blycker, CEO of Oxeon.
