Toho Tenax will be exhibiting its Tenax-E ITS50 F23 24K 1600tex D, a new filament yarn type which extends its product portfolio, at Composites Europe.
According to Teijin, the new type is characterised by both increased modulus and high strength. Tenax ITS50 belongs to the UTS fibre family, both types have a tensile strength of 5100 MPa, but the modulus of ITS50 is increased by 10%. Typical applications include pressure vessels and thin-walled composites that require a high degree of stiffness.
Toho Tenax will be exhibiting in Hall 5, Stand B12.
