Tecnatom and Álava Ingenieros have confirmed their partnership in the area of supplies of non‐destructive testing instruments.

Álava Ingenieros thus becomes official distributor of Tecnatom and will spread its NDT instrumentation to the markets of Spain, Portugal, Maghreb countries, Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, Venezuela, Colombia and Central America. Specifically the agreement involves the distribution of new ultrasonic inspection systems and Eddy currents, developed by Tecnatom.

For Maria Teresa Aguado, Deputy Director of Technology and Product Development of Tecnatom, “this agreement will allow us to position ourselves in new markets in the hands of Álava Ingenieros, which already has proven experience in areas to be explored yet by Tecnatom”.

The Vice President of Álava Ingenieros Group, José María Almazán, stressed that “the alliance with Tecnatom, a leading company in non‐destructive testing, is an important step in our positioning as providers of high‐tech sectors of great complexity, as aerospace or nuclear power, and strengthens both Spanish companies in markets of practically the entire world.”
