STW Composites, Inc. received a 2001 Supplier Performance Award from Cessna Aircraft Company.

In a ceremony held during the Cessna Supplier Conference in Wichita, STW Composites was presented with the Supplier Performance Award. The criteria for the award are based on the supplier’s rating on Cessna’s Supplier Tracking and Rating System (STARS). A supplier must be rated at the top of the quality, cost, and schedule performance categories. The performance period was for the 12 months rolling average January-December 2001.

Charles Johnson, Cessna president & COO, and Tanvir Arfi, director of Strategic Sourcing/Airframes, presented the award to STW. In presenting the award, Mr. Arfi stated, “STW Composites of Montrose, Colorado is a company that has the ability to design, develop, certify, and produce aerospace composite structures. STW Composites started its relationship with Cessna in 1999 and has had exemplary performance since then. The company’s attention to detail and dedication to customer service have earned STW this award”.

STW Composites, designs, certifies, produces, and delivers fully integrated composite structural components, major assemblies, and complete general aviation aircraft.
