Sicomin Presents Clear Coating, Laminating and Foaming Epoxy Systems for the Automotive Industry and Accredited Resins for Rail and Aerospace at JEC Europe 2015

Sicomin will be showcasing foaming epoxies for complex shaped automotive laminates which are suitable for the production of strong, high quality, structural parts that are too expensive or complex to create using a rigid foam or honeycomb core at JEC Europe 2015.

According to Sicomin, the foaming range negates the time and expense of CNC machining rigid cores. Instead, a closed cell foaming system, that is tailored to suit the customer’s production environment, generates a low pressure controlled expansion within the mould to produce a high quality finished part with no shrinkage.

Sicomin explains that its ultra-fast clear coating range provides a high mechanical performance with superior UV stability; a brilliant clear yet tough finish is achieved.

Sicomin’s accredited range of Fire Retardant products are used by many European Aerospace OEM’s. As a supplier to the German rail market, Sicomin says its advanced resin system SR1124 was recently awarded a Deutsche Bahn certification.

Alongside this focus, Sicomin will also present its diverse range of epoxy resins formulated specifically for marine and construction applications.

Sicomin will be exhibiting in Hall 7.3 on stand F64.
