SGL Carbon’s business unit SGL Technologies have increased its prices across its carbon fibre products range with immediate effect.
SGL Carbon, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of products made of carbon, graphite and composite materials for industrial and aerospace applications, said that the double digit percentage increases vary from product to product and will affect the Company’s carbon fibres as well as fabrics, prepregs and other fibre-reinforced matrix products.
Jan Verdenhalven, Managing Director of SGL Technologies commented: “”These price increases are based on raw material cost increases as well as on continually tightening demand and supply situation in the carbon fibre markets.”
