Scott Bader will be raising the prices of all its Crystic products across Europe by €120/t from January 2nd 2004.

Like almost every other unsaturated polyester resin producer, Scott Bader has seen its profitability hit hard in 2003. Scott Bader has taken the view that it must now increase its prices in order to improve its profitability and be able to support its long term commitment to the Composites industry.

“This price increase is an essential action to ensure we can continue to provide the high level of customer service and product innovation that our customers have come to expect from Scott Bader. We are confident that our customers will understand and accept why this increase has become necessary” commented Malcolm Forsyth, European Commercial Manager for Scott Bader’s Composites Business.
