Polyester resin and gelcoat supplier Scott Bader has moved its premises in Ireland from Glasnevin to Dunboyne, County Meath.

The move takes them from premises previously occupied by Strand Glassfibre, who they acquired in the 1970s, to brand new premises which will give them 3 x more storage capacity, a retail counter for the DIY enthusiast and modern facilities to run customer training and product demonstrations.

Area Manager for Eire and Northern Ireland, Martin Brickland said ‘Scott Bader has an excellent reputation as a ‘one stop shop’ and is acknowledged by the industry as providing some of the best information and training in the use of composites. These new facilities will allow us to increase the product range available to customers and provide on-site product training and demonstrations’.

In addition to its own-brand Crystic products, Scott Bader Ireland distributes Airex structural core materials; Akzo catalysts; Binani reinforcements; Chomorat speciality reinforcements; SIA abrasives; Frekote’s Loctite release agents; ACS solid surface chips; Meguiar’s Mirrorglaze wax release agents; Farecla finishing products and Swedtool rollers to the Marine, Building and Construction, Chemical Containment and Land Transport markets. .
