Scott Bader has installed a new mixer at its facility in Amiens, France, to expand production capacity for its range of adhesives, gelcoats and formulated products.

According to Scott Bader, this investment of over €1.2 million is in response to significant growth in customer demand for its products, and a continued long term commitment to the composites industry and its manufacturing facility in France. This additional mixing capacity has increased production capacity by around 50% and is needed to cope with the anticipated continued growth in sales in 2018 and beyond.

“To meet the growing demand and continue to offer competitive lead times, this new state of the art mixer will be used to manufacture a wide range of Scott Bader products for a variety of industries such as marine, construction and wind energy,” states Jonathan Stowell, Global Adhesives Director of Scott Bader.
