Scott and Fyfe will be exhibiting at the European Wind Energy Association (EWEA) Offshore event in Frankfurt from 19 – 21 November.
At the exhibition, the company says it will be showcasing its extensive range of composite reinforcement materials for use within nacelles, nose cones and blades. EWEA is one of the largest offshore wind energy conferences and exhibitions, attracting a global audience of industry stakeholders where it says its involvement demonstrates its commitment to the renewable energy sector.
By working in partnership with the offshore industry, Scott and Fyfe believe it has the commitment and capability to add value and improve competitive advantage within the sector. The company states it understands the challenges faced by turbine producers are becoming more extreme and more demanding. Maintenance, fault detection and efficiency are critical areas where textiles can make a significant contribution to the attainment of heightened performance and cost reduction.
Visitors can find Scott and Fyfe under the Scottish Pavilion, stand 30C10.
