SCIGRIP will be offering one to one consultations at JEC World 2016, with the MMA Team comprising of SCIGRIP adhesive experts who will be available to answer bonding queries and offer guidance around the application of 10:1 and 1:1 MMA technologies to a variety of substrates.
The SCIGRIP MMA team invites all JEC visitors with any bonding challenge to attend a consultation session with the relevant member of its highly experienced team. Each session will be entirely confidential.
SCIGRIP says that involving it in the early phases of the design process greatly reduces the possibility of bonding failures and subsequent delays to customer’s project.
John Reeves, SCIGRIP’s President, explains, “Working in partnership with our clients from the outset of any bonding application allows us to identify any constraints or stresses and assess the environmental conditions the component may be exposed to. With this information and level of involvement we can specify the appropriate strength 10:1 or 1:1 MMA system to deliver the most successful and reliable results.”
SCIGRIP’s range of MMA Technologies are suitable for a variety of composite, plastic and metal bonding applications in the automotive, agricultural vehicle and marine industries.
Product highlights at JEC World 2016 will also include:
SG800 – An ideal panel bonding range that demonstrates excellent environmental endurance and increased thermal resistance of temperatures above 120ºC.
SG300 – An excellent choice for bonding metals, metals to plastics and metals to composites, reducing the need for mechanical fasteners.
SG230 – A two component, 10:1 mix ratio product for bonding composite and other plastic parts with little or no surface preparation required.
In addition to the consultation sessions, SCIGRIP will also present a digital overview of their technologies alongside the publication of an ‘Introduction to MMA’s’ white paper.
