Saertex is introducing two new products focusing on fire protection.
SAERTEX LEO Coated Fabric is designed to meet the most stringent fire protection requirements of the rail, marine and construction industries. It is suited for manufacturing simple or curved structural parts, and is processed using the vacuum infusion technique. The fabric complies with the strictest fire safety standards and railway applications HL3 according to EN 45545-2 (-3) and can be used in floor panels of rail vehicles.
The second product, SAERcore LEO, also meets the HL3 fire protection requirements in accordance with the EN 45545-2 rail standard. It is designed for parts with complex shapes which are subjected to low mechanical stresses. SAERcore LEO is processed using RTM and RTM Light.
