Redelease has taken over the exclusive distribution in Brazil of the phenolic resins produced by the Dutch company, AkzoNobel.
According to Redelease, the products are mainly used in the production of brake pads and brake linings, cutting and grinding discs, grinding wheels, fireworks and speakers.
According to Rubens Cruz, CEO of Redelease, the sale of phenolic resins is expected to account for approximately 15% of the company’s revenue over the next twelve months.
“We are quite optimistic, as AkzoNobel products are recognised worldwide for their excellent quality. It is also worth highlighting the variety of market segments that we will be able to serve,” he said. In total, the customers of Redelease will have access to five types of phenolic resins.
This business also meant the expansion of the partnership between the companies. “We have been distributing AkzoNobel organic peroxides for composites since 2005.”
