Redelease presented several alternatives for manufacturers of FRP and PU at Feiplar.
“”It is a great opportunity to reinforce our solutions provider profile””, says Roberto Iacovella, director.
For FRP manufacturers, the company has three items. The semi-permanent release agent Chemlease 258-R, manufactured by the North-American company Chem-Trend and exclusively distributed by Redelease in Brazil, is designed to release pipes manufactured by filament winding. “”It is a green product, because it eliminates the need to use plastic films between the pipe and the mold, materially reducing the residual generation””, explains Rui Figueira, Redelease’s specialty manager.
Another Redelease attraction destined for the FRP market is Inacor Te’s nonwoven, a polyester fibre hybrid and microspheres material indicated to apply on the composites laminated central parts made in sandwich structures. “”Inacor Te is largely consumed abroad by nautical and automobile industries””, said Iacovella. Among the main advantages provided, Redelease’s director points out the reduction of the part’s weight, combined with the material increase of the mechanical resistance – two times higher than the levels achieved with conventional fibreglass mats. “”Besides weighing less than the mats, Inacor Te’s nonwoven consumes a lower amount of resin, which reduces the overall laminated weight””, he explained.
During Feiplar, the distributor also launched the Polynew 50 part gloss fixer. As it is a water-based, the product manufactured by Redelease addresses a scarcity in FRP Brazilian industry: the lack of gloss of the produced parts. “”With time, tooling loses gloss, which prejudices the final product finishing. Applying a coat of Polynew 50 to the part, the manufacturer can reestablish the aesthetic standards it used to obtain when the mould was new””, explains Figueira.
