Brazilian distributor of chemical products, Redelease, has expanded its portfolio.
It now includes epoxy resins manufactured by North American company Olin, who lead the global production of this type of polymer after acquiring the epoxy business of Dow in 2015.
With the arrival of these products on their shelves, Redelease becomes the newest choice of supplier of epoxy resins processed by manufacturers of industrial floors and companies specialised in the production of moulds, among others.
“In parallel, we have strengthened our presence in the composites industry, since epoxy resins are widely consumed by manufacturers of anticorrosive coatings and pultruded profiles used in chemically complex applications,” said Roberto Iacovella, Managing Partner of Redelease.
In this case, the formulation of Olin resin distributed by Redelease is based on a highly resistant Novolac epoxy. “We already have a lot of experience in challenging applications because we have been distributing Derakane ester-vinyl resins from Ashland for over ten years, which are synonymous worldwide with anti-corrosion protection.”
