Renaissance Aeronautics Associates. and their training division ACT – Advanced Composites Training has teamed up with UTEX Scientific Instruments to instruct training courses.

UTEX Scientific Instruments has completed the installation of a new state-of -the-art training centre in their 15,000 sq.ft. facility, fully equipped with the latest technologies in multimedia-interactive computer stations for each trainee. New NDI equipment being installed includes a large multi-axis scanning system, multiple UT immersion scanning tanks and related hardware & software systems for simulation.

RAA / ACT President Wilson J. Boynton said “”The opportunity to work with UTEX Scientific Instruments in delivering the NDI for Composites and Bonded Structures training course, offers the aerospace, aviation and the NDI industry as a whole, an unprecedented opportunity to receive this specialized training, in a new facility specifically designed for this purpose. I believe this to be the only course of its kind available in Canada””.

The course is designed to provide NDI Technicians with valuable new information that can be immediately applied in any aspect of their work. The first ACT / UTEX course is confirmed for the week of May 28th to June 1st.
