A new pultrusion machine marks the sixth machine line at Pultrex’s 24 hour per day production facility in Manningtree, UK.
The machine is a Pultrex Px1000-12T and Pultrex explain that it will be capable of producing profiles up to 1000 mm wide and 300mm in height or multiple streams of smaller profiles. The servo driven machine with its advanced control system achieves high levels of quality and accuracy as well as being extremely energy efficient.
Mick Welham, Composites Manufacturing Director at Pultrex believes that the company is now well placed to meet future demands and maintain its excellent “on-time” delivery record for quality products.
Pultrex, who returned to pultruded profile manufacturing in 2007, has been rated by Plimsoll as the 10th fastest growing company in the composites industry and been named in 3 categories of “Outstanding Performance”.
Welham continues, “We have seen an enormous growth in the pultrusion industry in the last few years – it’s been a very exciting ride. This new machine will allow our continued rapid growth whilst maintaining quality and delivery targets to ensure customer satisfaction.”
