After an initial proposed deadline of 11 August for EU 27 Member States representatives to cast their vote on provisional anti-dumping measures proposed by the European Commission, EuCIA understands that this date was cancelled.

The written consultation has been replaced with an oral consultation of the Member States on the 26th of August in Brussels

According to EuCIA, opposition and input provided by composite users across Europe to the national governments contributed to this important procedural decision. Member States will now have a chance to properly discuss the proposal and make an informed decision about the reality of the impact that anti-dumping duties will have on the composites industry.
