The 5th biennial Composites Innovation will take place on 20th – 21st June 2018 at the Nottingham Conference Centre, Nottingham, UK, with particular focus on innovation related to the automation of processes for light-weighting and increased composites production rates.

The programme, now available on the website at https://compositesinnovation.com/programme-2018/, features experts in automation from across sectors including aerospace and automotive. Keynote presentations are being provided by Richard Collins, Technology Analyst for IDTechEx, and Henry Sarel-Cooke, Business Development Manager for GKN Wheels and Structures.

Gemma Smith, NetComposites Communications Director, said, “We’re really pleased with how the conference programme has shaped-up. Richard Collins will be a fantastic start to the conference as he discusses how automaton is key to cracking the composite industry’s toughest problems. Henry Sarel-Cooke will follow this up to highlight challenges faced by the industry and what automation can do to overcome this from his own perspective. We are sure this is set to be a great conference.”

The conference programme has sessions to cover automated material placement, digital manufacturing, high volume manufacturing, design, machining and cost.

Sponsorship and exhibition packages are available in a variety of packages to suit all budgets, providing an opportunity to engage with the conference audience, whilst benefiting from added online presence.
