The BAXT WP10 Spray Booth Wall Protector has been adopted by UK motorsport company Prodrive.

Prodrive’s spray booths are in use daily, and the paint shop department required an efficient method of maintaining the booth to minimise downtime. BAXT’s UK distributor Direct Tool Company offered a one month trial of the WP10 solution to Prodrive which resulted in a follow up order consisting of multiple rolls.

The WP10 offered the paint shop potential productivity gains thanks to its five-layer design. Rather than removing the entire coating from the wall and re-applying every couple of months, the WP10 is constructed with five peelable layers which can be easily and quickly removed to reveal a fresh clean surface whenever necessary. This minimises downtime of the busy paint shop and thus increases productivity.

“WP10 has proven to be a winning solution for spray booths of all shapes and sizes,” explains Warwick Binks, Product Development Specialist for Direct Tool Company. “With mounting pressure to increase throughput without compromise on quality, solutions that simplify the maintenance of capital equipment like this are always going to succeed.”
