Interplastic Corporation’s Thermoset Resins Division is raising the price of CoREZYN and Silmar brand polyester and vinyl ester resins, gel coats, colorants and putties $0.06 per pound, effective on all shipments on or after February 9, 2013.
According to Interplastic, the increase is due to tight global feedstocks and rising demand for key raw materials leading to significant increases in all raw materials used for polyester and vinyl ester resins. Interplastic says it is working closely with suppliers to minimise these cost increases and to ensure consistent product supply.
