The PRF team will showcase its prepreg materials alongside its traditional hand layup range, and in particular, will be presenting its highly toughened RP549 epoxy prepreg.

According to PRF, specially formulated for the production of parts requiring high mechanical properties and good impact resistance, this new system has a Tg of 195°C (DMA) and excellent mechanical properties in tensile, ILS and flexural strength.

Alongside RP549, PRF says it will also be exhibiting RP802 – its tooling prepreg system which offers an extended tack life (10 days at 20°C) with a 16hrs cure at 60°C or 8hrs at 70°C, and a Tg of 190°C after post cure (DSC) – and its class-leading RP570 Snap Cure epoxy prepreg, which has a complete processing time of just 4 minutes, with no need to cycle the mould tool.

Also on the stand, PRF will be discussing the rest of its range of high performance materials, including high quality reinforcements, epoxy resin systems, Qiicote Mould Release Technologies and Safran-Structil Aerospace Adhesives.

In addition to its main stand, PRF will also be exhibiting with partners Robuso, where it will discuss the full range of Robuso hand shears and machines for cutting technical textiles.

Visit PRF on Stand N122 and Robuso on stand N116 at the Advanced Engineering Show.
