Euroresins will become the leading distributor of PPG’s chopped-strand mat and spray-up roving across Europe.

PPG historically supported customers through a country-focused European distribution network. Under the pan-European agreement with Euroresins, end users will benefit from the partnership of two customer-oriented businesses geared toward delivering best-in-class products and services, according to the companies.

“This deal is the first of its kind in the European composite industry and represents a fantastic opportunity for our customers to be serviced with both premium fiber glass products and premium composite resins,” said Michael Effing, president of DSM Composite Resins. “We’ve been looking for some time for an appropriate commercial relationship like this one, and I’m thrilled to announce the Europe-wide deal with PPG Fiber Glass, which makes this a reality. This deal will allow increased efficiency and increased competitiveness for the customer.”

PPG Senior Vice President, Glass and Fiber Glass, Victoria M. Holt said, “PPG’s industry-leading Mat 79, Mat 92 emulsion-bound mat and HYBON fiber glass roving products will be supported through Euroresins’ extensive European network. This working relationship gives PPG the opportunity to focus our supply chain and selling resources in the critical European region. This is an exciting deal between two firms that have very complementary long-term interests relating to supplying the composites industry in Europe.”
