Polinox, a manufacturer of organic peroxides, has expanded the list of their sustainable products with the launch of Perbenzox PF.

The company says that Perbenzox PFis a benzoyl peroxide with a phthalate-free formulation. They state it has the same characteristics of traditional benzoyl peroxide in relation to performance and processing. “It can be applied to the manufacture of plastic putty, pipes and profiles, as well as to polymerise vinyl ester resins,” says Sérgio Andrade, Industrial Manager of Polinox.

“Brazilian composite moulders have been increasingly looking for environmentally friendly solutions, such as phthalate-free peroxides and resins partially derived from renewable sources,” says Andrade.
