Plasticon UK are relocating to larger premises at Sutton Fields Industrial Estate in Hull to accommodate their growth.

According to Plasticon, over £2 million has been invested into the 5.5 acre, 54,000 sq ft site, and the move will bring the existing Beverley and Scunthorpe factories into one purpose built manufacturing facility.

Mike Day, Managing Director of Plasticon UK, said “This is an exciting time for Plasticon UK; this new manufacturing facility will put Plasticon UK in the forefront of composites infrastructure manufacturing. This move will enable us to expand our existing customer base and build on our reputation as the foremost manufacturer and installer of GRP tanks, ducts and pipes in the UK”.

Plasticon have previously operated from two sites in the UK in Beverley and Scunthorpe which they say has severely constrained the growth that could be achieved.  The move to Sutton Fields Industrial Estate in Hull follows a period of sustained growth for the company, with a growing portfolio of clients in the Water, Waste, Power, chemical and other manufacturing sectors.
