PlastiComp is increasing investment into development of LFT (Long Fibre Thermoplastic) technology to support rapid business growth.
According to Plasticomp, they have purchased the Winona airport campus facility from Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (MNSCU). The new facility is to be used as the centre of technology development for PlastiComp’s LFT compounds and parts businesses. Plasticomp explain that corporate administrative offices and technical development projects are also located at the facility. They say LFT pellet production will continue at the previously established Winona and that the new LFT facility will also provide space for future expansion for additional LFT pellet production.
