Rojac Tooling Technologies, specialists in the manufacture of composite moulds, patterns, models and prototypes to a world wide customer base have recently launched their new interactive website.

The new look site provides a detailed interactive online brochure for prospective clients, whilst providing a comprehensive information source for existing customers. But, unlike many corporate websites, this is more than a snazzy online brochure.

Rojac have spent years developing their online project management facilities and this new site builds on the enormous success Rojac have been enjoying in this area. The new gives customers the ability to register to a secure online project management (OPM) system. The OPM system allows customers to track their mould tooling projects during manufacture; the information provided is regularly updated to ensure customers receive a live snapshot of their projects progress 24 hours a day 365 days a year. Unlimited numbers of people can be registered to each project allowing engineers, purchasing, production, designers and even Rojac’s customer’s customer to gain access as required, giving one central secure area for project information and technical collaboration.

This minimises the need for site visits, streamlines production and speeds up technical queries. Some of the features now enabled include live web-cams to CNC machines, project messaging facility with project message history, online viewing of resourced timing plans, digital photos, technical documents, 2D tool drawings and 3D CAD models. The system even allows for any member of the project to add relevant files to the OPM system themselves, upload CAD files and provide feedback at the end of each project, helping Rojac to continually improve its customer service and product quality.
