Oglaend Industries are entering the composite market in the first quarter of 2006 with a new range of composite cable ladders and trays known as smart cableway.

The new designs will be available in various resin systems which conform to standards including BS476 part 7 class I & II or ASTM E84. The standard resin system will be Zero halogen based to help lower smoke generation and toxicity levels for all installations, but especially for offshore and tunnel applications. A variety of widths and heights will be available and the new design will be compatible with the Oglaend accessories currently used on their metal trays and ladders.

Oglaend Industries is the parent company to Oglaend System AS Norway, names that are active in metallic support systems to the oil & gas industry.
