Cerex Advanced Fabrics has introduced the N-Fusion family of nylon spunbond fabrics that are engineered for the composites industry.

The products are designed to give high quality surface finish, improved impact resistance, and deeper, richer colours than possible today. Cerex say that N-Fusion veils achieve these improvements through a natural resin affinity, which brings more resin to the surface of the composite product.

“”Cerex is a leader in creating advanced solutions for customers that desire to produce high quality products for their demanding markets. Our N-Fusion fabrics provide the next generation in composite performance,”” says Jim Walker, President and CEO..

N-Fusion veils and reinforcing fabrics are currently available in weights from 0.3 to 4.0 ounces per square yard (10 – 136 gsm), widths up to 120″” (~3.0 meters), thicknesses ranging from 3 to 22 mils, and in a variety of custom colours and print patterns.
