Norco Holdings is increasing its capability in providing lightweight composite structures to the defence sector.

Within the defence industry, Norco manufactures satellite dishes and radomes to extremely tight tolerances. Use of high performance prepreg materials, combining low loss skin and core materials as well as innovative manufacturing and painting techniques developed in-house, all help in minimising transmission losses. Norco has also developed in-mould surfacing solutions to improve reflectivity at frequencies above 8 GHz. The company has a complete capability in composite manufacturing, stretching from CAD design for manufacture, through patterns and moulds, to component production and finally assembly and fit. Norco also operates within the aerospace sector, manufacturing UAVs and flight simulators.
