NMG Composites has signed an exclusive distribution agreement for the US, Canada and Mexico with Carbon-Core to represent the NMG product line in North America.
Under the terms of the agreement, Carbon-Core says it will also provide service, training and technical support for NMG North American customers. To ensure availability and reduce transit time, NMG Composites will relocate its primary warehousing operations from Alabama to Virginia, from where, NMG says, 80 percent of the US can be serviced within two days.
Jack Chai, CEO and President of NMG Composites stresses how important the North American market is to NMG, “We chose Carbon-Core for their extensive expertise in the composites materials industry and for their ability to provide a broad range of products as well as technical and application support to their customers. Plus Carbon-Core is well known throughout North America for offering a competitive range of core materials. The NMG technical fibre material products are an ideal fit with the other materials Carbon-Core produces or distributes, such as laminate bulkers, structural plastic honeycomb, lightweight panels, PVC, PIR, PE foams.”
“This agreement with NMG Composites represents a major commitment to our structural materials business,” says Jack Lugus, Managing Director of Carbon-Core, “we are now able to offer an even wider range of innovative products to our customers. NMG’ products for contact and closed moulding have an excellent reputation all over the world.”
