The event, which aims to help people in the broader construction sector understand more about fibre-reinforced composite polymer materials (FRPs), will take place on Wednesday 9th April 2014 at the National Physical Laboratory in Teddington, UK.
Several member companies of the Network Group for Composites in Construction (NGCC) will begin the day with a ten minute company overview presentation, followed by an afternoon of networking over table-top exhibition displays.
Claire Whysall, Coordinator of NGCC said, “We designed this event to showcase the many applications of FRP’s within the construction industry. Whilst FRP’s are being used in high-profile projects, there is still a need to educate architects, specifiers, and contractors about the materials.
“We are inviting anyone in the construction sector to come and meet some of our member companies who will be delighted to answer any questions attendees may have.”
Delegate places at the event are free of charge and registrations should be made through the form on the NGCC website.
Presentation and exhibition places are limited to NGCC members at a price of £275 (ex VAT) each. Whilst the exhibition is open to non-members, companies wishing to present are invited to join NGCC ahead of the event. For more information, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
