New Marketing Initiative for PPG’s Fibre Glass Business

PPG Industries’ fibre glass business has implemented a marketing initiative to heighten awareness of the brand by highlighting its unique position and more clearly define the unmatched offerings it brings to the markets it serves.

The initiative features a new tag line “Expertise you trust. Solutions you demand,” that PPG says positions the company as a trusted provider of expertise and solutions to its fibre glass customers.

“This updated tag line better articulates the mission of PPG Fiber Glass to all our customers,” said Tom Kerr, PPG Vice President for fibre glass. “In developing this marketing program, we sought to communicate a stronger focus, brand image and value proposition to our customers and the industry, and this tag line clearly serves that objective.”

PPG describes these key concepts as the essence of its marketing effort:

  • HERITAGE – PPG has produced fibre glass for more than 60 years, and its customers benefit from the broad range of products and industry experience that PPG offers.
  • CUSTOMER FOCUS – Customer relationships are very important to PPG Fiber Glass. The company strives to actively engage customers and understand their growth and expansion plans so it can help them deliver solutions that meet the demands of the marketplace.
  • COMMITMENT TO THE INDUSTRY – PPG Fiber Glass continues to invest in innovation, product development and production capability to support the current and future needs of its reinforcement and yarn material customers and the industry.

“We are already implementing a cohesive look for our commercial material and introducing the Expertise you trust. Solutions you demand. tag line,” said Laurie Cochran, PPG Branding and Communications Specialist for fibre glass. “From our website to our product packaging, we’ll be presenting a more unified look and message to our customers, the marketplace and the industry.”
