Interplastic introduced the CORVE8121LH series of low HAP Vinyl Ester resins at Composites 2003.

“The CORVE8121 series will set the standard for regulatory compliant vinyl ester marine resins. They also meet or exceed all standards for blister and fatigue resistance while being the only vinyl ester marine resin to meet the new EPA standards,” said Terry McCabe, the Division’s Technical Marketing Director. In addition, this new series contain a maximum of 35% styrene (HAP) by weight, that meets the EPA 40 CFR Part 63 requirements of the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAP) for Boat Manufacturing. This product also meets the current VOC requirements of California SCAQMD Rule 1162 for “High Strength Resin.”
