The European Pultrusion Technology Association (EPTA) are to produce a new market research project on the European pultrusion supply chain.
EPTA state that the primary reasons behind producing the report are that the market reports currently available offer contradicting results and future predictions, prompting EPTA to produce its own research.
The 65 EPTA worldwide member companies have been asked to participate in the research, with a number of companies being approached at the recent JEC composite show in Paris for their contributions.
EPTA said that participation will be via an online-questionnaire and by telephone interviews which it is hoped will provide more reliable data from the organisations. Findings will be presented at the World Composite Catapult Competition in the Netherlands on 7th July 2005.
The complete report will be available in July and a summary of the findings will feature in Netcomposites news.
