Contractors are entering into the final phase building a new 60,000 sq ft factory for epm:technology.
The company states the £6.75 million factory, supported by the Derby Enterprise Growth Fund, will be equipped with the infrastructure to be able to produce items for Formula One, aerospace and automotive markets from June.
“My team have a very clear focus” explained Graham Mulholland, Owner and Managing Director of epm:technology. “The development is racing along at a phenomenal pace, it’s almost inconceivable to consider that in less than six months since announcing this project, I am able to stand in a brand new factory and say that the final 50-day countdown to when production commences has now commenced.
“While there is still an incredible amount of work to transform the shell of a building into a state-of-the-art factory it will, when complete position epm:technology at the very forefront of composite component manufacturing and engineering. I am extremely confident my team are ready and we will be moving throughout May, and be fully operational in June.”
