OSG has developed several new carbide drills for carbon fibre reinforced plastic.

These new drills are engineered and designed per individual application and, according to OSG, utilize unique edge geometry and relief angles to maintain sharpness and prevent delamination. OSG’s patented ultra-fine diamond coating has a micro-grain structure of less than one micron, which they say makes it smoother and less prone to flaking.
