The company explains that their 12’x30’ autoclave is fully installed and operational. It says the clave adds a significant amount of excess capacity, both in size and number of cure cycles available for production.
According to Royal Engineered Composites the new autoclave is significantly larger than Royal’s five other autoclaves. In an effort to increase capacity and stay ahead of the growth curve, Royal procured long-lead materials for the autoclave in April of 2012. Preparation of Royal’s facilities began in March of 2013, and the autoclave arrived onsite in July.
Jarrod Ridge, Business Development Manager at Royal commented “Royal has seen an increased number of potential opportunities from both current and prospective customers, and we are gearing up for an escalation in sales.”
Royal Engineered Composites offers design, manufacturing and prototyping services for aerospace and defence companies.
