The Network Group for Composites in Construction (NGCC) are to host a one hour forum session at the Composites Engineering 2013 Show.
The session, which will encompass three, 15 minute presentations will showcase the latest developments in the use of composites in construction during the exhibition on the 12 – 13 November at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre.
Ian Stone, Managing Director of UK Tech Events who organise Composites Engineering stated, “We are delighted to see expansion of the ‘composites in construction’ agenda at the upcoming 2013 Composites Engineering Show. We recognise the durability, lightweighting, insulating and load bearing advantages that composite materials are bringing to the built environment sector and expect to see a continuing strong growth in attendance from this community”.
Claire Whysall, Coordinator of NGCC said, “It’s a wonderful opportunity for NGCC to be a part of the 2013 Composites Engineering Show. The aim of the forum is to show just what can be, and is being done with fibre reinforced polymer composites in the construction sector using a range of examples from experienced companies. I hope this will dispel the image that the construction industry is behind in its innovative use of the material.”
Companies wishing to put themselves forward to be a part of the NGCC forum should send a 250 word abstract to NGCC via email@example.com 1st June 2013.
